Men, Take the GenderAvenger Pledge to Make Sure Women's Voices Are Present On Every Panel

Attention men, and the women who live or work with them! Hundreds of men have signed the GA Pledge, and we encourage more to step up and sign it so all-male panels, aka manels, become history. When men sign the Pledge, we ask them tell us why they signed, so we thought we’d share some of those reasons from men working in a variety of fields, including employees from companies like Netflix and PepsiCo, small business entrepreneurs, members of Congress, college and law school professors, technical recruiters and consultants, lawyers, and social workers.
We firmly believe that if more men are asked to sign the Pledge, many more will sign, watch for lack of diversity, and act to change it. If you believe women’s voices belong in the public dialog, sign the GA Pledge and ask someone else to sign with you, because we are stronger together.
As we say at GenderAvenger, challenge it, and change it, because women as equals will become the norm when it is the norm, everywhere.
