A few years ago we introduced you to Marilee Talkington, an award-winning actor, director, creator, and fierce activist for women and artists with disabilities. She courageously stood up at a World Science Festival panel and uttered three words that have stayed with us ever since — let her speak.

Since May is Who’s Talking Month at GenderAvenger, we thought it fitting to revisit Marilee’s story and applaud her once again for not staying quiet. Her voice opened a door for another woman’s to be heard. Our voices can change the world.
