Lesley University Boston Speaker Series Moving From Women's College to Patriarchy

The esteemed Lesley University has announced the lineup for its 2018–2019 Boston Speaker Series… and it’s not good. The speakers themselves are fantastic, but there just are not enough women! 8 speakers total, 6 men and only 2 women, neither of whom is a woman of color.

Given Lesley used to be a powerful women-only school, we hope this, partnered with their recent rank of 41 on the Women’s Power Gap study, doesn’t indicate a downward slide toward patriarchy.
