📣🚨 ACT NOW | Harvard Law School Conference Missed the Gender Parity Memo in Massachusetts

Earlier this week, Boston Business Journal wrote about a study that claims higher ed could be the first sector in Massachusetts to hit gender parity, but you might be a little confused by the study’s claims if you take a look at the agenda for the 2nd Annual Challenges to Antitrust in a Changing Economy held at Harvard Law School. The speaker list, which features several members of the faculty of Harvard Law School, has terrible gender balance. 86% of the speakers are men, and a mere 14% are women, only one of whom is a woman of color… and two of the six panels are manels! It seems safe to assume that the value of gender parity only applies to university leadership, not the conferences it endorses or participates in.
