#HallofShame | d.health Summit 2015
d.health Summit 2015 hopes that its attendees…
…will learn, share and evaluate transformative approaches and disruptive ideas to improve care and generate economic value for one of the country’s largest industries.
Sadly, they won't learn very much from women in the industry.
Women outlive men, and yet a conference that aims to "improve the health of aging Americans" has only 10% women speakers. And we're not the only ones who have noticed this extremely imbalanced ratio, either. Halle Tecco brought this to GenderAvenger's attention:
Embarrassing new low: @dhealth2015 has just 10% women speakers http://t.co/CnldsxjOWU cc @GenderAvenger @XXinHealth

3 women and 27 men is a terrible speaker ratio, d.Health Summit. You can do much better.

A mere 10% women speakers to foster change in elderly health is shameful, @dhealth2015. http://www.genderavenger.com/blog/hallofshame-dhealth-summit-2015 #dhealth2015 #genderavenger
