#HallofShame | Ask the Atlantic Council to Include Women In Their 2016 Conference

The Atlantic Council Energy and Economic Summit brings together a highly influential global constituency to discuss critical energy and related political, economic, and security challenges every year in Istanbul. While the Council has announced the dates for the 2016 event, the line-up is seemingly still in the works. Last year, the keynote speakers consisted of 7 men and one woman, with only 15 women invited as speakers to the summit. At a conference of this scale, with 76 men on panels, the Atlantic Council had 12.5% women represented in their keynote and only 16% overall.

But, there is still time, because the summit isn’t happening until November, and we’ll be counting and checking in between now and then to see if their ratio improves. Help us urge the Atlantic Council to include more women experts this year.
