#HallOfFame | 52% Women Speakers at #ONA15

The Online News Association 2015 Conference promises that "ONA15 speakers represent diversity, innovation and leadership across all aspects of digital journalism. They are committed to sharing best practices, inspiring insights and hard lessons won through their experiences."

ONA15 has kept their promise so far with 52% women speakers! Out of 244 confirmed speakers, 126 are women.  

When we highlight conferences that are creating balanced lineups, we not only give credit where credit is due, but show proof that these conferences exist and that these gender ratios are possible. Conferences with gender-balanced lineups like ONA15 debunk the common excuses we encounter for disappointingly low numbers of women speakers.
