"Politics Editor Pledges to Include More Diverse Voices in ‘Roundups’":

Michael Arnst hosted a viewing party in Baltimore for Tuesday night’s Democratic presidential candidates’ debate. The crowd, this Times reader wrote me, was a mixed one: “black and white, male and female, straight and gay.”

Their reactions to the debate were quite different from those he read in a reaction piece from “bloggers, commentators and the Twitterati” in The Times, which quoted 11 white men and no one else.
