"Daniel Clowes, Riad Sattouf And Joann Sfar Withdraw From Angoulême Grand Prix As No Women Are Nominated":

The Angoulême Grand Prix is the most prestigious award in the comic book medium, recognising a creator’s contribution to the artform over their life. This morning, we ran the long list of thirty names, which will be whittled down to a shorter list to vote upon.

The only thing was, no one seems to have thought that any woman might be deemed worthy for the list this year.
