Women make up approximately half of the global population, an unforgettably simple and, it's fair to say, widely known ratio that somehow seems lost on leaders in many sectors. Just days after women in Hollywood protested unequal representation, pay, and treatment of females in the entertainment and other industries at this year's Golden Globes, organizers at CES, the world's leading electronics and technology trade show, have bafflingly cited a "limited pool" as their reason for naming not a single female kaynote speaker at the show.
The response came after Gina Glantz, founder of Gender Avenger, understandably took the show to task in an article for USA Today.
