“Directors Guild of Canada Names First Female Head”:

The Directors Guild of Canada in Ontario has promoted Victoria Harding to executive director, the first woman in the post.

Harding, who served as associate executive director since 2013, replaces Bill Skolnik. "The significance of appointing Victoria, who will be not only the first member to serve in this role, but also the first female executive director of DGC Ontario, is profound to me," executive chair Annie Bradley said in a statement.
