Featuring a lineup of all women, including Carlile, Maren Morris, Indigo Girls, Margo Price, Patty Griffin, Lucius, KT Tunstall, Secret Sisters and Ruby Amanfu, the festival was created by the By the Way, I Forgive You singer to show that – despite what current festival bills may indicate (right now, women make up about 19 percent of lineups according to a Pitchforkreport) – female artists are not only worthy of booking, but they are bankable, too.
