From the Archives | When Doctors Are Not Called "Dr.": How Forms of Address Reveal Gender Bias

We introduced you to a group of women doctors who drew attention to the gender bias in forms of address in medicine, and, three years later, that’s still happening.

Right now, the entire world is almost completely dependent on doctors, most of whom are working under dire circumstances without enough supplies or rest, and many without being able to see their families for days, so let’s remember the importance of respecting all doctors, women and men, now and in years to come.
