📣🚨 Fast Company Innovation Festival 2019 Has Good Gender Balance But Needs More Women of Color

In 2018, GenderAvenger awarded the Fast Company Innovation Festival a Bronze Stamp of Approval, so we checked in on this year’s lineup in the hope of awarding them a Stamp of Approval again. While the 2019 lineup continues their strong gender balance — this year’s festival has 45% women speakers — the number of women of color falls far short of our standards at only 18%. While we’re glad the gender split is nearly even, Fast Company needs to have more women of color on the speaker list next year.
