📣🚨 Action Alert | Democratic National Convention Earns GenderAvenger's Gold Stamp of Approval

The Democratic National Convention takes place this week, and the speaker list’s balance is top notch. Anyone who tunes in to the prime time convention program throughout the week will be treated to speeches delivered by a speaker lineup that’s earned a Gold GA Stamp of Approval, consisting of 51% men and 49% women, 56% of whom are women of color*. It’s clear that a great deal of effort went into putting together a diverse group of speakers who represent the American population, and we applaud the organizers for doing the work to get it right.

The Republican National Convention takes place Monday, August 24 to Thursday, August 27. At the time of this writing, the speaker list was not available. GenderAvenger will review the lineup once it becomes available.

*This count includes the 17 people delivering the Keynote Address on Tuesday, August 18.
