Avengers of the Week | Winners of the 2017 Rising Scientists Scholarship

With the constant web chatter about girls and women and their role in science (or lack thereof), we were so pleased to come across this group of rising scientists. These young women have been awarded college scholarships by the Child Mind Institute and the CUNY Advanced Science Research Center for their “exceptional promise in the fields of child and adolescent mental health or pediatric neuroscience.” With women like these shaping the future of mental health, brighter days are certainly ahead.
