Avenger of the Week | Sue Montgomery, Mayor

Canadian Sue Montgomery, Mayor of the Borough of Côte-des-Neiges—Notre-Dame-de-Grâce, Montreal, became an internet sensation this week when she tweeted an image of her latest knitting project, a handmade version of the Time Who’s Talking function of our app.

The city council she sits on has a nice gender balance (31 women and 34 men), but Montgomery felt the men took up too much of the talk time, so she set out to prove her theory by knitting in red each time a man spoke and in green each time it was a woman.
