Avenger of the Week | Rose Horowitz, Founder #WomenToFollow

About a year ago, Pulitzer-nominated journalist and public relations/communications/social media expert Rose Horowitz “started something on Twitter.” After reading a study that revealed men journalists are far more likely to engage with and follow each other than women journalists on Twitter, Rose decided to take action and suggested three smart women to follow on Twitter. She used the hashtag #WomenToFollow, and a movement was born. Within 9 days, the reach of #WomenToFollow was 9 million and counting.
