Avenger of the Week | Kim Ng, Senior Vice President for Baseball Operations, Major League Baseball

Yesterday was opening day for Major League Baseball, which means MLB SVP for Baseball Operations Kim Ng will be very, very busy. Thought to be a future choice for the first woman General Manager of a major league team, Ng is currently the highest-ranking woman corporate executive in Major League Baseball. Ng’s interest in baseball started as a child in Queens as a frequent stickball player who went on to play college level softball and was named an MVP infielder. She’s come a long way since then, with her work to expand baseball’s reach into untapped markets around the world resulting in her being named one of Fast Company’s Most Creative People in 2017.
