Not only has 16-year-old Jade Hameister set records by being the youngest person to trek to the North and South Poles and Greenland, but she can make a pretty mean sandwich. After commenters flooded the comment section of her TEDx talk on YouTube with the sexist message “make me a sandwich”, Jade Hameister skied over 370 miles back to the South Pole (as in, she’d already done it once and chose to do it again) to do just that. After posing at the ceremonial south pole with a sandwich, she invited the commenters to join her, but only once they skied the 37 days it would take to get there.
