Abolitionist Harriet Tubman has been in the news recently because the new $20 bill bearing her image has been delayed. The Treasury Secretary claims it is because of security issues, while critics claim it’s because Tubman was a black woman.  The fact is that no American woman is more deserving of the honor than Harriet Tubman. It's about time she gets the recognition owed to her and becomes embedded as a figure every American understands as a vital part of the nation's history.

And, although it's against the law to deface US currency, we’ll just leave this right here.
