Avenger of the Week | Cindy Gallop

Cindy Gallop tells it like it is. She’s got no time for excuses and has been on fire this month calling out manels and lack of racial diversity everywhere from from the New York Times to Infosys. If you follow Cindy on Twitter (and you should), you know that when she talks, people take notice.

Cindy is a legend in the advertising industry, a sextech entrepreneur, a consultant, and always an outspoken champion for diversity and inclusion. She served as Jury President for the first Glass Lion awards at Cannes, which “recognises work that implicitly or explicitly addresses issues of gender inequality or prejudice, through the conscious representation of gender in advertising.” Her advice to women to get paid what they deserve inspired a Cindy Gallop chatbot on Facebook that helps women ask for a raise.
