Action Alert | Yale Gets Schooled About Creating a Balanced Speaker List

Earlier this week, Graham Webster (@gwbstr), a senior fellow at the Paul Tsai China Center at Yale Law School, put out the call for people to boycott the Yale Cyber Leadership Forum's Kissinger Conference because all of the speakers are men.

Yale responded to Webster with an updated speaker list that now includes 7 women, claiming that the change was not prompted by online criticism of the previous lineup.

While we’re glad for the change, we do question the timing and are disappointed that all three featured speakers at the conference’s high-profile Kissinger Event, “Understanding Cyber Warfare and Artificial Intelligence”, are white men.
