Action Alert | XLIVE Needs to Attend Its Own Session

In a few weeks, experts in the festival and live event industry will convene at XLIVE. At a conference with a session entitled The Future is Female – How Women are Playing a Crucial Role in the Creation of Extraordinary Live Events, you would think the speaker lineup would at least be at a minimum GenderAvenger-approved 40% women, yet less that 25% of those slated to speak are women. Hopefully the event organizers made time in their schedules to attend this session, because clearly “finding more women to speak” wasn’t a consideration they made.

For a live event with a session on the role of women in creating such events (ahem, @XLIVECON), there sure are a whole lot of men on the speaker list.
