Action Alert | We’ve Been Working On Something Special!

Alright, GenderAvengers! Are you ready for the next evolution of this brand? 

We’ve come a long way from calling out conferences and fanning the flames of rage to asking more profound questions and getting to the heart of systems change. And as you’ve been with us during this growth process, we’ve remained faithful to the question that keeps us up at night “Where are the women?”.

We used this year to highlight Avengers Of The Week, who also asked: Where are the women of color? Where are the women with disabilities? Where are the poor women? Where are the immigrant women? Where are the women at various levels of education and social status? Where are they?! Their voices, experiences, and empowerment matter too.

We are on a learning journey together. In all equality movements, we must see others as potential allies and coconspirators willing to get in the trenches and push for more equitable spaces. Thank you for being a part of this ongoing questioning and conversation about whether your feminism was intersectional; how we build nuanced, inclusive, and intersectional feminist movements; and the difference between Calling In. Calling Out. and Calling B.S.. At GenderAvenger, we continue to learn that meaningful change happens when we address the broken rung and the ladder; when we fix the leaky faucet and the plumbing; when we get upset about being overlooked while also heading right to the source of where our power was denied. 

And so… We are excited to join the All In Together family. All In Together is a nonpartisan organization focused on women's leadership and civic engagement. In our new home, we will highlight gender imbalance in business, politics, and government to push for change. Read more about the road ahead in this press release. 

GenderAvenger has always belonged to the community. We love your energy, excitement, and enthusiasm. We hope you’ll continue to support GenderAvenger in the exciting years ahead with our new All In Together family. And we are excited to see how new GenderAvengers will take up the mantle and continue to evolve what it means to be a GenderAvenger.
