Action Alert | The SXSW 2018 Keynote Lineup Is Still Lacking

Last month, we noted the imbalanced keynote speaker lineup at this year’s SXSW festival. At the time, there were 6 men and 2 women slated to speak on the main stage. Since there was still plenty of time, we challenged the organizers to add more women to the keynote stage. The good news? They listened! The bad news? They only added one more woman. Cue sad trombone. The count currently stands at 6 men and 3 women, which isn’t exactly what we had in mind. Maybe they’re using the “slow and steady wins the race” philosophy. A girl can dream, right?
