Action Alert | Pod Save Is a Dudefest

We’re no strangers to Crooked Media’s podcasts, so when a GA follower asked us to take a look at the gender breakdown of Pod Save the World guests, we thought it was a great idea!

We took a look at the November episodes of both Pod Save America and Pod Save the World, and our follower was right. These progressive bros do need a check. During 12 total shows, only 36% of the featured guests were women, and while that may not seem terrible, once you add in the fact that all 5 show hosts are men, that makes way too many dudes talking.

The podcasts are described as a way to “help people figure out what matters and how to help”, but we already know something about that. Women’s voices matter just as much as men’s, and we can help them by allowing their voices be heard.
