Action Alert | The MoneyShow Improves from Zero to 13% Women Speakers 😒

It’s time for The MoneyShow Virtual Expo. To say that this event has improved its gender balance is not saying much — when you start at zero, the only way to go is up.

In 2020, there was not a single woman to be found among the 37 speakers. This year, the event will feature 7 women and… 47 men. Out of those 7 women, none are women of color.

According to MoneyShow, this Virtual Expo will convene “the country’s most sought-after financial experts… to share in-depth intelligence about the markets, and the catalysts and trends driving them.” This lineup that features mostly men as experts denies the growing percentage of women investors, not to mention the fact that women investors earn better returns than men.

Let’s encourage MoneyShow to get with the times, shall we?
