Action Alert | Korn Ferry Needs to Walk Their Talk or Cancel Sponsorship of Digital Healthcare Innovation Summit

“To maximize performance, engaging the entire workforce — in all its diversity — is a foundational imperative.”

This is the first sentence on the Diversity & Inclusion page on Korn Ferry’s website, the very same HR consulting firm that is a premier sponsor of the upcoming Digital Healthcare Innovation Summit.

Way back in 2015, DHIS landed in our #HallofShame given the poor gender balance of its speaker lineup (89% men, 11% women), so we are extremely disappointed that the lineup for their October 2018 Summit looks pretty much the same three years later: 85% men and 15% women, none of whom are women of color.

We’re wondering, Korn Ferry, since your website specifically highlights inclusion, diversity, equal pay, and women in leadership, how you can support such a poorly balanced event, one that clearly goes against what you declare is a “foundational imperative” for one’s success? Will you be working with organizers over the next six weeks to make it right, and will you walk your talk and withdraw support from the conference if it goes against the “statistical evidence [that] clearly shows that a more balanced representation of women in top leadership positions produces better financial results”?

According to @Korn_Ferry, women in leadership, equal pay & diversity are vital to a business's success, so how does premiere sponsorship of a #DHIS18 conference where only 11% of speakers are women fit in? #genderavenger https://www.genderavenger.com/blog/action-alert-korn-ferry-digital-healthcare-innovation-summit
