Action Alert | Fast Company and Time: Let’s Celebrate Two GA Stamps of Approval
Last week, we brought you a tale of two papers of record and their gender fails. Things are looking up this week because we have two reasons to celebrate!
Fast Company scores high marks for its upcoming Innovation Festival, which will be held virtually September 27th to October 1st. The event promises to bring together “thousands of forward-thinking creators, makers, inventors, entrepreneurs, and emerging leaders from across the country and around the globe who are embracing change, blazing new trails, and moving our world forward.”
We are thrilled to award Fast Company a Silver GA Stamp of Approval for a lineup with 55% women overall and women of color representing 23% of all speakers.
Time Magazine earns our highest honor of a Gold GA Stamp of Approval for its excellent list, the “TIME100: The Most Influential People of 2021”. This year’s roster features 53 women, of whom 38 are women of color, and 47 men. It doesn’t get much better than that, folks!
Nominations are always open for GA Stamps of Approval. If you’ve seen an event or list with awesome gender balance, let us know!
Tell TIME and Fast Company we like what we’re seeing!
Congrats to @TIME and @FastCompany for getting gender balance right and earning GA Stamps of Approval for their #TIME100 list and #FCFestival. This is how it’s done! #GenderAvenger https://www.genderavenger.com/blog/action-alert-fast-company-time-ga-stamps-of-approval
