Action Alert | 60 Minutes Forgets About Women

Oops. During a segment about an American soccer phenom on Sunday, CBS’s 60 Minutes tweeted:

When the twitterverse immediately pointed out their mistake, 60 Minutes deleted the tweet and posted a revision an hour later.

Rather than making it seem like the error was a just typo, this would have been the perfect opportunity for 60 Minutes to admit their mistake and maybe even refer to last year’s story about the soccer players on the US Women’s Team who are fighting for equal pay.
