📣🚨 Action Alert | 3 Cheers for 3 Gold GA Stamps of Approval Earned by TIME, Westbridge Solutions, and Tech Inclusion

It’s a banner week here at GenderAvenger: we get to award THREE Gold GA Stamps of Approval.

First up is the “TIME 100: The Most Influential People of 2020” list. Each year, TIME magazine curates a list meant to be “a mirror of the world and those who shape it.” While what it takes to shape the world in 2020 looks much different than years past, there is always a diversity of people influencing change, and with TIME’s list made up of 45% men and 55% women, 65% of whom are women of color, TIME is demonstrating the rich breadth of influence women hold.

Next is the 2020 Global Fluency Diversity & Inclusion Summit. Speaker Miranda Madar submitted this summit for a GA Stamp of Approval because she is “super proud of Westbridge Solutions and the work they are doing for the community and the world to bring awareness, inclusion, diversity and improved training for professionals across multiple disciplines.” We are too, Miranda, and so we’re pleased to award them a Gold GA Stamp of Approval for their speaker lineup, which consists of 42% men and 58% women, 57% of whom are women of color.

And, last but not least, Tech Inclusion 2020 earns a GA Gold Stamp of Approval for the second year in a row. Their stellar lineup consists of 53% men and 47% women, a whopping 67% of whom are women of color. Tech Inclusion was founded “in direct response to the tech industry’s shocking lack of diversity and its complicity in perpetuating inequity across products and processes,” and they are certainly making good on their mission.
