American Legislative Exchange Council Annual Meeting has 11 featured speakers at its annual meeting July 30 – August 1. That is a 9% female speaker ratio even though 24% of state legislators are women. ALEC just announced Lisa Nelson as the new CEO and includes a female Chair, so perhaps more featured speaker roles will go to women next year.
