"Gender gap? Tech could take a cue from orchestras":

While delivering a keynote speech at a conference on diversity in 2005, Larry Summers, economist and former president of Harvard, famously explained that there are fewer women in science and engineering because of "issues of intrinsic aptitude."

Perhaps the tech world could learn a thing or two from the nation's leading orchestras, where blind auditions are now an industry standard.
